Using Arduino Serial Monitor with an IR Sensor to Control Servo Motor Position

Here I demonstrate how to use the Serial Monitor within the Arduino IDE. The serial monitor is important for determining the sensor values that are output from our IR proximity sensor. We can then use those values to set the position of our servo motor. This basic set up is useful for various types of robotic and IoT projects such as prototyping robotic hands or programming a robot to turn its wheels based upon whether it detects an object within a certain distance.
